BUTCHER, Minor 'MC'
Born in Las Cruses, New Mexico on August 13, 1941, passed away in Sacramento, CA on April 6, 2013. Friends are invited to viewing today 4-7 pm at Thompson Rose Chapel, 3601 5th Ave., and funeral service on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00PM St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 3996 14th Ave., Sacramento, CA.

I had so many fond memories of Minor Butcher. I met him 1986, as a CSUS student and working at the Federal Bldg, he allowed me to park for 4 hrs in their assigned parking spaces. He was such a generous person. One, time I thought my clutch was going out on my car. He asked if I knew how to pop the clutch. I said yes. Minor pushed my car out the parking lot by himself. I was forever in debted to him.

Wow! I really don't believe that our M.C is really gone. I will miss your smile, wittiness, and laughter. Even thou you and Mom never had girls, You know you have a office full of Daughter's (@ GENEX),that love you and Mom unconditionally, And you willbe miss you sooooo much.
The one i know that will miss you the most is your partner in crime (MOM) she has been your right hand just like you have been her left. We will try to keep her smiling,but you did that better than anyone. Micheal and Marcus we love you and keep your arms around Mom cause she's gonna need ya now more that than ever.

Words can't express how much this wonderful man and his family mean to me. I'm one of his adopted daughters and him and momma (Mrs.
Earnestine) has truly been a joy to my life. I love all the family as my own and my prayers and thoughts will always be with you all. God Bless, Patricia Sparks.

I will miss MC so much. MC will be missed and never for gotten. He was a wonderful father, husband and grandfather and a father to all of us in one way or another. I know god has opened the gate for him and he is looking at us everyday. Love you Dad from April and James Bryant.

To the Butcher & Cole families.... Last night when i found out that M.C. had passed i sat there thinking about how back in the days when we all grew up in tne Fruitride/44th st. area how we would all go up to Ethel I Baker and play softball.... and anytime we would be playing around Mr.Butcher would chase us down and tell us to stop messing up with his fast talking!!!LOL Oh and don't dare talk about his 49ers cuz then he would let you have it....
