Miriam PALMER Obituary

PALMER Miriam Eleanor
Died unexpectedly in her sleep on December 12, 2010, from an illness from which she had been suffering for a few days. Born in October, 1915, she was 95. In 1943 she and her three older children moved from Philadelphia to Auburn, CA. While working at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, she had her fourth child, Linda. In the late 60's she and her family moved to Alaska, and she returned to school to become a psychiatric nurse, working at the Alaskan Native Hospital in Anchorage. Miriam later returned to California where she lived until her death. Her husband of more than 32 years, Carl, and her younger son, Howard, predeceased her. She leaves her three remaining children, Jeanne, Ted, and Linda, as well as seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or charity of your choice.
