Nancy and I were colleagues at the Third District Court of Appeal. She was a fun person to be around and a hard worker. Nancy is missed by many in the legal community and among family and friends.

The people of UC Davis and UC Davis Health love Nancy. She represented us in our most important cases for two decades with warmth, compassion, skill, humor and charm. We miss her very much.

Nancy was the shining light in one of the most difficult times of my career. She was always positive, supportive, incredibly kind and the most organized thorough person I have ever met. She was a credit to her profession and a role model for all. I will be forever grateful for her. She made a difference in so many lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I worked with Nancy when she represented UC Davis in several cases as an extension of campus counsel. She had a great sense of humor and we laughed over her description of Jack McCoy in Law and Order! She was a lovely lady. I would attend her service but I have a previous important engagement. Please know how much she was respected by my office.

Nancy was an extremely friendly person, a very talented lawyer and a real leader in the American Board of Trial Advocates. She will be very much missed. May she rest in peace.
