Noel CARTER Obituary
Beloved husband, father and grandfather departed this world on Dec. 10, 2009 due to complications resulting from a tragic accident. Survived by loving wife and lifelong companion Joanne. Together in 47 years of marriage, they had 2 children, Tony (Ann) with son Max, and Tiffni (Richard) with son Colton and daughter Madison. He was born in Berkeley, CA in 1942 to Verni Carter and Rosa Colombero. Along with his brother Verni, they were raised in Dunsmuir, CA. This is also where he met his wife Joanne. Graduating Chico State in 1964, Noel and Joanne married and moved to Sacramento, CA where he started his 37-year career with Bank of America. In the 1970's Noel settled his family back in the mountains he loved in Nevada City, CA. He loved to go camping, fishing, motorcycle riding, mtn biking and exploring with his family. Retiring early he traveled with Joanne from Canada to the tip of Baja. They have wintered in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the past 10 years. Noel had the ''gift of Gab'' and made friends all over the world that will miss him dearly. A celebration of life to be held on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at 1pm the Elks Lodge in Grass Valley, CA.

Dear Joanne, Tony & Tiff,
It is with such sadness that we received the notice of Noel's demise. It was only today that Barry and I were wishing Noel was still at B of A, as I am having such a problem with them because of my mother's account!!
We will always have such fond memories of Noel. His sense of hummer was the best. The biggest memory that stands out is being in Truckee with him & his telling us that he could never pass up a sale item!! The last time we saw you two you were off to somewhere in your boat! What fun you must have had. God bless all of you. We will miss him, but never forget him.
