Norine Galzinski Obituary
Seventy-two-year resident of Sacramento passed away on September 9, 2003, at age 80. Norine was born November 12, 1922 to Fred and Norine Owen. She moved to Yreka in 1992. Norine spent her time enjoying crafts and bingo, but her life centered mostly around her family and home. Norine is survived by her three children, Norine Brandt of Yreka, Rosemary Smith of Yreka, and George Galzinksi of Sacramento; her brother Melvin Owen and wife Kathy of Sacramento; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Norine was preceded in death by husband Michael Galzinski in 1991; two loving sons-in-law, Phil Brandt in 1992 and Stephen Smith in 2001; brother Buzz Owen; and niece Kim. Memorial services Thursday at Sacramento Memorial Lawn from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, CA on Friday at Noon. Remembrances may be made to local hospice.
