I will really miss Opal I had the blessing of living in the same apt with her for a very long time. She was truley loved by myself and my mother Tina Casillas. I was very blessed to be a person she thought of with her candles. I lost my son in 79 and since I have known her she always remembered him on his Annv. I will miss her and she will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I can still hear her laughter. She will always be my "2nd mom" and will always be in my heart. Dorothy, Mike, Doug, and Robert, you will always be my family. It is comforting knowing she created and nurtured wonderful children and left a great legacy. Her life on this earth made a positive imprint and I am certain the angels sang as she entered her new glorious life. My prayers are with you and your families. Love, Judy

Robby, We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful woman and very beautiful. I will always cherish the good laugh we all had after you had given me my "special" haircut back in the 80s! You were a great son and please let me know if you need anything. Tina and the Whites.

Opal was such a great possitive person. Steve's daughter went over to Opal's apartment one day and Opal said let me write you a song and proceeded to play it on the piano. We will certainly miss you Opal!

Mom was so proud of her family and she gave all of us an A+

She would want me to thank family, friends and Vitas for the loving care, thoughts and visits that she received. Thank you!

I am grateful for the support my brothers and I received. We certainly appreciated all the food and beverages, too. I give a special thank you to our spouses, children, and Barbara (my daughter in-law), and to cousins Bill and Kathy for taking such good care of Mom and us.

We all have our own special memories of our "-Mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, friend, and lover of life, beauty, music and song-"

Jessica, no doubt, she will be singing Happy Birthday to her great-great granddaughter!

All my Love to Family and Friends,

Opal's daughter, Dorothy or Dort, as Mom would say

To Steven and Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. Opal was so pure of Heart and Soul. She gave of herself unconditionally, and asked nothing in return. She gave her love freely and never asked for it in return. I know that she is happy in Heaven, but is greatly missed here on Earth.

Tom and I love all of you dearly, and you are in our thoughts and Prayers.

May God Bless and watch over all of you.

With sincerest Condolences,

Love Tom and Lisa

From the time I met Grandma Opal she was soo sweet and always kind and accepting. The times I had got to talk with her she was always so positive and seemed to always talk about the brighter side of things. Even as a great grandma she had one of the best personalities that I have ever seen in someone…

Passing is always hard to accept in all forms … the family is in my prayers! Grandma Opal was a wonderful person and I am very grateful to have met her.

Im sure she will be singing Happy Birthday to her great great granddaughter!

So at this time of sorrow,
may these truths sustain you...
Your loved one will always

Robert and the Viduya family,

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I will never forget our many trips to Jimboy's Tacos. We would always sit in the same booth and then head back to grandma's apartment to catch the newest episode of the Golden Girls. In my mind, I can still hear her laugh as we watched that show together. Her laugh was contagious and unforgettable. I also have many memories of trips to the 99 Cent store, piano lessons, and pep talks on being our best self. Grandma was also SO beautiful and youthful. I always thought she looked like a movie star. I can still remember all of my friends saying, "THAT'S YOUR GRANDMA?!" Love you, grandma.
