"The baker behind the great bread."

(1929-2008) Oriano Orsi, Born August 11, 1929 in San Andrea di Compito, Italy. He was the son of Jack and Elisa Orsi. He was preceded in death by his older brother Ugo Orsi and his younger brother Joe Orsi. He is survived by his loving wife Manya, son Robert and wife Kelley, grandson Nicholas, Aaron McMichael and Lisa Broyles and grandson, Zachary Broyles. His nephews, Aldo and wife Margarita, Isabella and Giuliano, Mario Orsi, Michael and Tony Orsi, and Sister-in-law Ersilia Orsi. Oriano worked at Muzio Bakery for over fifty-five years until he sold his partnership to his partner Merv Fahn. He retired from the bakery business which was his life. He was a very dedicated baker and loved making his bread, especially his sour dough! Muzio Bread was sold in stores and restaurants in and around the Sacramento area for many years. Oriano enjoyed traveling to Italy every few years to visit relatives and friends. He especially took pride in passing on his Italian legacy through his son Bob, and grandson Nick. Oriano was able to show them their roots and family heritage on those Italian visits. He will be missed greatly not only for his ability for baking bread, but also for being such a sharp dresser! He always looked the very best. Visitation with Rosary will be on Friday, June 20, 2008, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. held at NICOLETTI, CULJIS, AND HERBERGER FUNERAL HOME, located at 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sac. CA 95819. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, June 21, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. at ST. ROSE CATHOLIC CHURCH at 5961 Franklin Blvd., Sacramento, CA. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
