ROSS, Pamela K.
Went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2014 at the age of 76 due to complications from pulmonary fibrosis. Pamela was raised in Yuma, AZ. Graduated with a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Arizona in Tucson where she met her former husband. Married in 1959 and then moved to California. Settled in Sacramento in 1972 where she resided until her death. Pamela loved her family, friends, reading, researching genealogy, gardening, decorating, restoring antiques, singing, writing screenplays, dressing for success, investment club, and playing bridge with her Delta Gamma friends. Pamela volunteered for various organizations and edited a small conservative publication. She was a passionate patriot and took an active interest in politics. Pamela felt the best decision she ever made was to accept Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and read the Bible daily. She was a part of many Bible study groups, Aglow, intercessory prayer and attended Capital Christian Center, Real Life Church, and Trinity Life Center. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. She is survived by 2 daughters, a son, 2 grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law, an uncle, many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, her former husband, and many devoted friends. All are invited for her funeral Thursday, April 24, 2014 1:00 pm visitation and 2:00 pm chapel service at East Lawn Memorial Park 4300 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95819. Entombment to immediately follow. Our mom is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all. The Ross family would like to especially thank her doctors, nurses and caregivers at MGH, UCD, Mercy Hospice and Right at Home Care Assistance for their wonderful and loving care.
