Elk Grove, California - Patrick Melvin Flannery, age 97, passed peacefully on May 23, 2021, at his home in Elk Grove, CA. Visitation, Rosary, Mass and burial will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 9 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Rd, Sacramento CA 95820. A reception will be held immediately after the burial for friends and family in Elk Grove (contact Kathy Lee at [email protected] for details). While i was only able to be with pap-pap for 12 years of my life, those were some of the best years being able to experience the joys he brought us all. I am so thankful for being able to see his smile and personality for this long in my life. He will always be with us!

To all of my nieces and their families; Your Dad and my dear brother was such a wonderful man. His smile and love for life always picked everyone up. I loved Buddy very much and know he was so proud of all of you. God Bless. Hope to see you on any travels to Pittsburgh. Love, Aunt Vernie
