Dear Lin and Family:
I am so sorry for your loss, Lin. You will miss your husband, Paul so much. From what I hear (for I have no first hand knowledge), it's a lonely road and we must find a new way for ourselves.
Maria--to lose your son must be very devastating. My heart goes out to you for I cannot imagine losing one of my children.
For Bob, Tami, Debora, Karen, and Don--for the rest of time, you will find yourselves remembering things your father said and did throughout your lives. My father died when I was 19 and I'm still quoting him. Somehow our parents become so much more knowledgeable as we grow older; and especially after we have our own children.
May God give you all the strength to get through this time. I know that you'll all find great strength in sharing your wonderful memories--memory sharing seems to bring us all through and keep us going.
God bless you all and hold each and every one of you in the palms of His hands.

Linda I am so sorry to learn of Paul's death---I feel honored to have been able to know him and care for him in the Kaiser Oncology Clinic---what a kind, caring, and lovely man--I always enjoyed seeing him--and you--in the clinic. God bless you and your family, and help you all get through the hardest of times--am sure you have many fabulous memories of times with your loving husband and father---I am thinking of you. Love, Louise Lehrer
