Paul Thompson Obituary

THOMPSON, PAUL C., EMT-P
Age 45, passed away unexpectedly in Sacramento on August 2, 2002. Born on March 20, 1957, raised in Eureka, CA. Survived by his wife, Hyon; children Sabrina, 20; Angela, 18; and James, 12. Also survived by parents James & Mary of Rio Dell, CA; brothers James (Darla), Michael, Mark (Cheryl), Phillip (Karri), and David; and sister Sharon. Paul served in the USAF & Army National Guard. He began his career in EMS in 1982 in Eureka, CA. His career continued at Bi-County Ambulance in Yuba City and progressed to Davis Ambulance, which then became AMR. A well-respected Paramedic, he shared his many years of experience & knowledge with co-workers and students. Paul was a strong employee advocate for the members of Local 250. He will be greatly missed by family, friends & co-workers. Public viewing will be on Thursday, August 8 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM at Chapel of the Valley, 8391 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights (916)797-1448. Funeral at Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 4148 Madison Avenue at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 9 with burial to follow.
