With rosary in hand and kitty-cat curled up by her side, Paula went to sleep the morning of Sept. 18, 2019. Born in Sacramento Aug. 30, 1963, Paula lived most of her life in Sacramento. Attended local private schools, graduated from Bishop Manogue H.S., and worked for California Dept of Justice for almost 20 years. She is survived by her children, Sara Plant of Vallejo, and Zoe Lewis of Seattle, WA. Beloved daughter of parents Philip and Leona Laird, and sister Diana Martinez of Sacramento, and a very loving person to all. She loved music, ladybugs, and most of all, the full moon. It had a special meaning to her. Interment will be private, and memorial service is pending.

Paula was married to my brother Steven Secco we all rented a house together for about a year had lots of fun. Paula was one of the cutest and funny person I've had the pleasure to know I don't know much about her after that as we all went out separate ways. Paula very cute and very stylish wish I could of known her longer. RIP. I just found out about this tonight.

Hi Paula,
I ran into your sister Diana today. Its been a couple years since Id seen her. She mentioned you and showed me a picture of Zoe. She looks just like you! Diana misses you terribly. She said your dad takes pictures on nights with a full moon. I miss visiting with you at your house. I loved your sense of style! I have that stained glass piece you gave me. It hangs in my bedroom and I think of you everyday when I look at it. Watching James Corden isn't the same without you! I miss you. I know we will see each other one day. Until then my dear friend...Love always, Lisa

Paula was my neighborhood friend. We carpooled to Bishop Manogue and spent lots of summers having fun in the neighborhood. Paula was beautiful with a bright smile that would light up any room. May her memory be eternal and may she Rest In Peace.

Paula and I have been friends since were 8 and 7 yrs old and we lived around the corner from each others.. We were the best of friends till she went to a private school. We have done things together such as riding bikes around the blocks, walking to the stores to buy candies, to swimming at my house all the time and having sleep overs together..... Paula I have been trying to find you for the longest darn time and was wondering what or where you were! When my cousin Tracy called me one day and told me you were with my cousin I just couldn't believe it! I was so happy to hear your voice and was so glad we got back in touch with one another.... I hope you are playing with the angels up there as I will forever hold all the memories that we had for ever in my heart! I love and miss you and miss not talking to you! We will meet again someday when I get there... Love you Paula ... Love Randy... P.S.. You'll be forever in my heart my friend! Rest in Peace Paula....

My heart broke on the day I got the news of your passing. I will always remember your smiling face and free spirit. I'll always think about you when I see a sunflower. Rest in peace my friend.
