To Penny's Family:
I am truly saddened to hear of Penny's passing. I recently lost my wife of 51 years, so I share in your grief and sorrow. The fact that Penny died in her sleep of natural causes is a blessing. Both of us worked in the CYA for many years, and I remember her well when she was training officer. We worked together in conducting several training classes and Penny was always a true professional. A friend sent me a quotation which I want to share with you, "Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back help comfort you tomorrow."
Sincerely,
Alfred Owyoung
