MOSQUEDA, Peter Y.
We have lost a loving son, a very dear friend and cousin. Born in Sacramento, CA on 10/19/1952, he passed away peacefully on 1/31/2010. He was preceded in death by his brother David. He is survived by his loving mother, Magdalena Y. Mosqueda (Nena) & Peter Mosqueda, Sr.; also by loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He will be deeply missed and always remain in our hearts. Viewing/Rosary on Monday, 2/8/2010, 4-8pm at Harry A. Nauman & Son Funeral Chapel, 4041 Freeport Blvd. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, 2/9/2010, 10am at St. Rose's Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.

I will miss my friend Pete, he has been very kind and helped me many times over the last 20 years with sincere sage advice. I will miss his smiling face and the many laughs we shared over a beer, and the lessons learned in Tahoe.

My name is Joni Deuson. Pete and I shared a friendship for the past 30 some years. His personality was always very charming, friendly, sensitive, and cheerful. I looked forward to our conversations at the Hereford House while tending bar. Pete took very good care of me, always "watching my back" as they say. I felt very secure while he was with me. At times, I would give Pete a ride home, and he would sing to me along with good Spanish music. I know how much he loved his mother and family, and know how much he will be missed by us all.

As Pete's ex-wife and friend i will always remember the good times we share. I know I will miss him dearly and I offer my condolences to his family in these tough times.
