Philip Roger Swanson passed away on December 25, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife, Masako; children, Don (Danya) and Linda; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Philip was retired from the Army (26 years). After his military service, Philip was hired by Hewlett Packard when they moved to Roseville from Cupertino and retired from HP after 15 years of employment. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 2 at the East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, from 4-7 pm. Funeral service will be at East Lawn on Thursday, January 3 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lutheran Church of Ascension, 7607 Garden Gate Drive, Citrus Heights 95621.
