Dear Patricia and other Mrs. Phyllis Henley descendents,

I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to know your Mother. She was a wonderful child of God and I always looked forward to seeing her and having small talk with her on the telephone. She taught me plenty of lessons in the art of gracefully aging and being at peace.

I pray that he is enjoying her newfound enternal rest in Heaven with her Creator and I look forward to one day being reunited with her.

Dear Henley Family,
We were saddened by the news of the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful women and I have nothing but fond memories of your home while growing up on Richmond Street. Some of my favorites are the hot coco after Christmas caroling through the neighborhood, berries from the garden w/ cream on summer mornings (a tradition I now share with my grandchildren), and the GREATEST 4th of July parties (minus 1). I'll always remember the kindness she showed my mother and the friendship they shared. Know I am thinking of all of you and hoping that her sweet giggle lives with you forever.

With Love,

Cecilia Shearer Oxley
