Dean/Brent...My deepest sympathies to you on the passing of Randall. We all lost track of each other when we moved off Fruitridge Road (although none of us moved very far) and started living our own lives, but I have very fond memories of you and Randall, Sanaye, and your parents. Namaste.

I rode my bike from south land park to McClatchy M-F in the summer late 70´s to attend summer school. It was an art class that I took. It was there that I met my art teacher, it was there that I won 1st place in art competition, it was there that this art teacher would later on become a friend. Every year we would exchange Christmas cards and it´s not just a card where you sign your name, we actually exchanged letters talking about what´s new with us and such. We would run into each other at many festivals throughout the year. There was one festival where I knew I would always see you at and that was at the Sacramento Buddhist Church Bazaar, we would spend a little time chatting and catching up.
I am honored to have had you as a teacher and a friend that you have become. My heartfelt condolences to your family
Rest In Peace my friend...Mr. Randall Ishida. The festivals will not be the same. You will surely be missed.

When I think of the all the years we were at the Bee, I think of only the good times with people like Randy. He made the Bee what it was with his caring, considerate and kindhearted personality and Randy will always be remembered for that. He was always a friend you can count on and he always gave so much more than what he took. Miss you my friend.
