Richard Ness Obituary

NESS, Richard Alan
Nov. 28, 1950-Nov 28, 2005
Beloved son of Robert and Lois Ness, passed away on his 55th birthday. He grew up in Orinda, CA, and attended the Walnut Creek Christian Academy, Miramonte High School and UC Davis. He was a member of the Carmichael Elks Lodge. He loved fishing, reading, and corresponding with his friends from around the world. He drew great satisfaction in helping the elderly and infirmed. He will remain forever in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. We will always love you. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your favorite charity are preferred.

I found Richard through his mother, who worked at the Orinda post office. I collected stamps and she guided me to some highly collectible ones (in her opinion... I still have them). Because of that I became friends with Richard. I am so sad to hear of his death at such an early age.

Richald was a dear friend from college. We stayed up late many nights listening to Unshackled on the radio. I have made a donation in Richard's name to Unshackled.

richard has been a great friend for over a year to me. he helped me through several bad times, and would sit for hours talking to me if he had to, to make sure i was ok. even after his passing, i can still hear him occasionally making a smart comment here and there. he will be truly and greatly missed by many people. he was a treasured friend, and he took a little piece of several of us with him. loves to his family and hugs and kisses to richard

Richard had a gift for making anyone and everyone feel special to him. He was a talented writer, an intelligent and witty man who cared deeply for his parents, his family and humanity. Thank you, Richard, for your brief visit into my life and all that you gave to me during that time. You know I love ya~

Richard had so many friends, all over the world, via the internet. I can only imagine what joy it would have been to know him in person. He never failed to let everyone know how important his family and friends were to him. He is loved and respected by so many.

Watch for us Richard, we will all be joining you one day.

Love you....Barb
