Penryn, California - Bob/Daddio passed away unexpectedly at his home in Penryn, California. Bob was born in Bay City, Michigan, and grew up in Lincoln Park. He graduated from Lincoln Park High School and Eastern Michigan University, where he was a varsity swimmer at both schools. Bob was a father to three daughters, whom he adored, and had a successful career in medical sales. In 1991, he moved to California and met his loving wife, Marge, while he also fulfilled his dream of becoming a self-employed woodworker.

Bob was known for being artistic, humorous, and a philosopher of life, who enjoyed sharing his perspectives. He was a charismatic person with several interests including nature, books, collecting, travel, music, and animals.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents John Drotos and Ruth Evans Drotos. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Marge Gessner, daughters Tracey Drotos (Ryan Robertson) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Kimberly Galaviz (Ron) of Fishers, Indiana, and Katherine Drotos Cuthbert (Chap) of Franklin, Tennessee. He is also survived by grandchildren Natalie and Justin Galaviz, and step-grandchildren Chance, Maggie, and Joey Cuthbert. Bob also left behind his loyal friends and neighbors, a large extended family, his beloved dog Rosco, and llamas Reina, Seda, and Juliette.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Bob's local celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 26, at the Blue Goose Event Center Annex, 3550 Taylor Rd, Loomis, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
