April 5, 1934 - April 7, 2022
Wilton, California - Robert (Bob) C. Fife passed away on April 7, 2022 with Claudia Ezzell by his side after a long battle with a rare form of cancer. He was a loving husband, father and partner. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (2006). They had two sons, Rob (Kathy) North Carolina and special needs son, Randy,Wilton. He cared for his son, Randy until October 2021 when he became too ill to continue. Bob served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. He retired after 30 years with 3M. He and his wife were active with Tennessee Walking horses in Elk Grove and Wilton, spent years fundraising for Jessie Baker School and working with the Elk Grove Adult Community Training (EGACT) where Randy attends workshops. Bob was a member of the Widowed Persons Association of CA (WPAC) where he met Claudia after their spouses died in 2006. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He had a quick wit and made everyone smile when he was around. Memorials can be made in his memory to EGACT 8810 Elk Grove Blvd Elk Grove CA 95624 or WPAC 2628 El Camino Avenue Suite D18, Sacramento CA 95821. Service will be held on May 30 at 3:00 pm (arrive at 2:30 pm at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery 5810 Midway Road, Dixon. Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at the Carmichael Elks 5631 Cypress Ave Carmichael on Saturday, July 9th at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to both.

Condolences and prayers to Claudia and all of Bobs family and friends. Bob was an extremely kind man. Always pleasant and cheerful and a true pleasure to talk to. Bob was a regular customer at our dealership and we will miss him very much.
