My heartfelt condolences to Roger's family. I grew up with Roger when his family lived on Gilgunn Way in Sacramento right next door to our family. Roger's father was building their house at the time that I first met Roger as he was sitting on the new front porch and we hit it off immediately. This was about 1958. I remember his dog, Corky, who was often found miles away from the house. I believe one of Roger's more proud moments in his youth was when he became a member of the Pacific Little League team named the Pirates. Having moved from Pittsburg, PA, Roger was always a Pirate fan and never became a Giant or A's fan. It was a sad day (and a few months) for me when he moved to Costa Mesa during our high school days.

God bless.

My sincere condolences to the Paulat family. I was very sad to hear of Roger's passing. I lived next door to Roger in Sacramento on Gilgunn Way. In fact my father still lives in that same house. Roger and my brother are the same age. We all have very fond memories of the Paulat family. We kids spent endless hours playing on the railroad tracks behind our houses. Our backyards had no fences so it was like one big playground. Unfortunately we did not keep in touch over the years, but Roger is an integral part of my happy childhood memories now tinged with sadness. With deepest sympath, Vivian Ito Lem
