COREY, RUBY V.
74 YRS OLD
A SPECIAL LADY
Born in Ely Nevada June 24th 1928. Passed away May 23, 2003 in Roseville. Loving Mother of Ric Gordon & wife Linda, Elizabeth Landis & Husband Steve, sons Rocky Gordon and Anthony Kochie. Ruby will be missed greatly by seven Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, a sister and two brothers, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Ruby attended Sacramento area schools, and Graduated from Elk Grove High School. Ruby lived in the Florin Fire House, where she was the radio dispatcher for many years. Many will remember her support and dedication as a foster parent. Active and energetic member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Progra and gave much of her time and expertise to the Florin Historical Society. Family and Friends are welcome for visitation at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento on Thursday, May 29, 2003 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and to attend funeral services on Friday at 10:00 AM, also at East Lawn Mortuary. Ruby would like donations contributed in her honor to St. Judes Children's Hospital, this was her life long commitment.

Ruby was not only my aunt by marriage but one of my dearest and closest friends.
Thank you Ruby for always being here for all of us, you will live on in all our hearts, now and forever. I feel blessed to have been your friend, and a part of your family. till we meet again Alway and forever

Ruby was my very special Grandma. I will miss her very much, but I am glad that she is out of pain. When I have children, I'm going to feed them pancakes for dinner. I'm going to teach them how to ride a horse. I'm going to let them sleep with me in my bed if they want, no matter how old they are. I'm going to teach them to experience life just the way that my Grandma tought me.......
