Hi, this is Vickes daughter, your Uncle Stans oldest stepdaughter. I just saw this while searching Grandpa Zicklers name! I am so so sorry to see this! I loved your Dad! Your Mom and Dad were always sweet to me. I spent time at your house on many occasions. My belated thoughts to all of you. My email is [email protected], feel free to contact me.

John was a man I considered truly blessed to call “friend”. He always had time to talk and listened with care. Thanks to John my husband’s dream of becoming a Judge in Orange County was fulfilled. He had so much energy and wisdom that he was always willing to share with others. He will be sorely missed.

If you spent time with John V. Briggs, you were guaranteed that it would never be boring. He wanted to know what you thought and why. He always knew some history or funny story. He could laugh at himself. And he was always ready for a new adventure. He recruited my husband and I to help him surprise Carmen with a renewal of their wedding vows in Las Vegas with an Elvis impersonator officiating. He will be missed.

Uncle John made our lives brighter. I want to Thank you for all that you did for my Mother, brothers, sisters and I. Both you and Aunt Carmen loved and accepted us like your own children. I will never forget your wisdom, dedication to family and quick wit. The memories we share will live on forever. Rest In Peace my beloved Uncle.
