My heart goes out to the surviving members of Shannon's family, especially her mother, Melinda, who I work with daily at Mercy Hospital. May you find comfort in the memories that you all share of Shannon. You will be reflecting on them in the weeks ahead. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but I hope faith with many prayers will assist you in these very difficult times.

Shannon was a nice and sweet woman who always thought of others and how to make their life better. She was a great person to know and I watched her grow as a person. It is sad that she is gone before she truly blossomed. She will be miseed.
