Dad, it is drawing closer to our favorite time of the year and we can't stop thinking of you. It's time for football camp up in Oregon, then you travel back here and stay with us. I know the kids and coaches will miss you tremendously but you will be there in spirit for everyone. We miss you so much dad. I am sure you are sitting there having a pepsi, probably with God telling him "it's none of my business but if it were me..." and like with everything- you will try and make the world a better place for all the kids. We were all so blessed to have you as a father but more than that, it was an honor for us to share you with all the kids who needed you. You just had that knack of knowing who needed just a little extra encourgement, advice, or just someone to listen to them. You have touched the lives of literally hundreds of kids and by helping and guiding them, you have made the world we live in a better place. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU !!!!! Happy Fathers Day and Birthday. Love, Michelle, Mac, and Alex

Grandpa I will miss you so much, our long talks and songs we would make up and sing. You are such an inspriration to me. I will make you proud and I am glad your pain free now. You will always be close to me in everything I do. I will always be your favorite sweet little Granddaughter, and you will always be my favorite Grandpa. I love you

You will be greatly missed uncle Sharon. You were a great father, husband and friend to all. I will miss the days of you taking us to the mall or the walk to the firestation on the hill, I will always remember those times together. You may be gone, but not forgotten, we will miss you.

I'm so sorry for your loss of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a wonderful uncle to me and I'll always remember our summers spent with your family and of course his requests for tuna sandwiches from "Sal." May you be comforted in knowing that many people loved him and he's in a better, pain-free place. All our love, the Pettis family.
