My class researched Stan after viewing an educational video U.S. Celebrations. He plays Mr. J. the janitor. We are so impressed with his acting ability and all he was involved in. We would love to see the episode on the Mike Douglas show in 1979. His talents are very appreciated here.

I just learned of Stan's passing. Over the years, I hired Stan to voice a number of radio and TV scripts to run up here in the Pacific Northwest. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but developed a deep respect for his ability to make magic with his voice.
I once wrote a 60 second radio spot that had 16 different accents in it, just to see if he could pull it off. He effortlessly went from a German dialect, to Russian, Hispanic, Swedish, English, Western, etc. and only took 2 takes to nail it. In my 36 years in advertising, I've never worked with a funnier, more talented, and more wonderfully unique individual than Stan.

My condolences to you Pat and the Lemkuil family. Stan was surely one of a kind. I remember, as a young kid, being impressed with Stan's so many talents at Cheryl's Howe Avenue Fairlake Apartments. Stan would put in his Googalee Eye and walk around, hunched over, doing his sound effects. He really got into Character and to see how people reacted to him was hilarious. I remember getting a call from Cheryl, from time to time, to turn on the TV to watch Stan. I recall his home-made Edsel Ford desk he created. It was wonderful having known him. Sincerely, Dan McGhan

I am so sad to hear of Stan's passing. I worked with him on many projects...and I'll never forget THE LOUDEST MAN IN THE WORLD contest we produced for The Manteca Waterslides Bungee Jumping contest...Stan and I are 85 feet in the air on the bungee tower, I am yelling into a bullhorn as I introduce Stan to about 2000 people on the ground below...I pass the bullhorn to Stan and he whispers to me, " I don't need the bullhorn, I'm the LOUDEST man in the world". Of course, I thought, and pushed the bullhorn away as Stan stepped near the edge and proceeded to outline the contest details with a voice that could have knocked over a brick wall!
The world has lost a true creative genius and a gentle soul!

Keith Spear I remember all the fun times Pat and Stan and our gang had. I loved his homemade Edsil painted like a frog.

I met Stan from the neighborhood, met him at a yard sale he had, on Ethan, & he was making his voices to make my young son, Tyler, laugh, just to put him at ease. He was a jack of all trades, made me some 'vintage' creations, and lovingly showed us his redesigned radios, and later, the car in his front room! ~ I hadn't seen Stan for about 15 years, but I do remember him for his kindness & sense of humor. On another journey, now Stan, but you are leaving me & my kids, with very caring & heartfelt memories of you! Rest in peace, sweet friend ~~ @--->-->---

I was lucky to be a friend of Stan's at Sac State in the 70s. He was a real hit on campus. It's sad to know he's gone.

Stan was definitely unique and funny man. I still remember the good times with Stan and Pat and the sirens in the restaurants. My prayers are with the family, friends and Pat.

I am a neighbor of Stan's. Our property lines join. About a month ago I was in the front yard playing guitar and after one of my songs I heard this strange bird call coming over from next door. Of course it was Stanley giving me some type of a critique In an exotic bird call! In the 1980s Stan was a regular guest on my morning radio show. I miss you buddy!

This is sad. But every time I see an Edsel or hear a siren I will think of Stanley and smile. Thanks, Stan.

Stan was a very cool guy from his passion for the Edsel, his wacky 1959 customized Ford to my personal favorite sound, a tape recorder rewind sound.
You will be missed, buddy.
