Stephen Sparks Obituary
December 20, 2021
Sacramento, California - On December 20th, Stephen "Steve" Andrew Sparks passed away at the age of 67.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gail; son and daughter-in-law, Chris & Kerry Knadler; sister, Judi Springman; the FluidTech Hydraulics family; and numerous friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, William "Bill" & Dorothy Sparks.
Steve founded Fluid Tech Hydraulics in 1989 and Gail joined him in work, life, and love in 1995. He will be fondly remembered for his kind, gentle nature, amazing intellect, and appreciation for all things mechanical. His other love in life was animals, starting with his first pony at the age of 9.
A private service was held in Manzanillo, Mexico, where Steve & Gail vacationed for over 25 years.
Memorial donations may be made in Steve's name to the Sacramento Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) at 6201 Florin Perkins Rd, Sacramento, CA 95828.

I was so sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I met him in the '70s when Skip and Judi got married. Steve, Bill and Dottie always treated me like family. He was always a great guy and could do anything he put his mind to. My condolences.
