Father Steven, your words will forever be an impression in my heart. You made us think about what it meant to be a true Catholic. My promise to you now and forever and to God was your ending words at Mass, "Our mass has ended, but go out into the world and spread the peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ" Through HIS words through you, I do this with you in my heart. You taught me well and have made your impression. I love you and miss you. I always had a hug for you after mass... Until I see you again, Sweet warm hugs to you my dear friend. I love you. Father you will be missed. You were a huge part of our lives. You prayed with me in the middle of the night in the church parking lot when my father-in-law was very sick.It was a blessing that you were the priest while we lived in Paradise. We will pray for you..

It is with great sadness to learn of Fr. Steven's passing earlier this week.

I had the great fortune to work with Fr. Steven and members of the St. Thomas More Parish community of Paradise a number of years ago. Moreover, he and I grew up in the same area, although I did not know him at that time. It is remarkable how his calling to become a priest followed an education receiving an MBA and career in agri-business.

Fr. Steven was a priest's priest, dedicated to serving God, His Church and the diverse community of Faith of St. Clare's.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your Pastor, brother, uncle and friend to so many.
