Sylvia Tattics Obituary
TATTICS, Sylvia Sanna
Born on September 11, 1912 in Rocklin, California, daughter of Matt and Susanna Jacobson of Finland, passed away on February 19, 2007 in Carmichael, California at the age of 94 years. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and lifetime friend to many, Sylvia graduated from Roseville High School in 1930 and began a lifetime of devoted service to her Placer Community. She was a Member of the Rocklin School Retirees, Finlandia Club, Rocklin Historical Society, State Employment Retirement System, Lifetime Member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars, having served her country proudly during World War II, Rocklin Post 604, Women's Memorial Charter Member for Employment Records, Personal Secretary to Governer Frank Merriam, Secretary to the Director of Professional & Vocational Standards, Secretary and bookkeeper for the Rocklin School District following her cherished husband Steven's death in 1960. She retired in 1994 after volunteering for 10 years for the American Cancer Society Discover Shop. Sylvia is survived by her loving family, daughter, Pamela S. Tattics Benoit, husband Dick, son, Gary H. Tattics and wife Mary, daughter, Holly J. Tattics LaSan, husband Richard; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve and her son, Randy K. Tattics. A Celebration of Sylvia's wonderful life will be held on Saturday, March 10th at 2:00 P.M. at the Lutheran Church of The Resurrection, 6365 Douglas Blvd., Granite Bay, CA.

I am sorry to have missed your mothers service. We send our prayers and Gods peace to you and your family at this time of loss.The Rocklin community and kids we grew up with were blessed to have your Mom as part of our lives.
She was a wonderful and sweet lady.
