Ted Hamilton Obituary
July 3, 1925 - December 16, 2021
Sacramento, California - Ted Hamilton, 96 years young, passed away peacefully in his home of 64 years. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Irene after 61 years of marriage, his cherished daughter Diane Munso and her husband Joe, his grandson Joey Munso and great granddaughter Lily Hamilton. He is survived by his children Gary Hamilton (De'Nai), Patti Horner (Ken), Sharon Planchon (Tony), David Hamilton (Michele) 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Ted was born in Tacoma, Washington and moved to Sacramento in 1952. Ted loved being around family throughout his life and he will be sadly missed by all. For a full version of Ted's obituary, please log onto George L Klumpp's website. A vigil will be held at George L. Klumpp on January 5th at 6:00 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Church at 10:00 a.m. on January 6th followed by a gravesite service at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Ted's name can be made to the Sacramento Children's Receiving Home or your favorite charity.

To Gary, Patti, Sharon, and David:
My condolences to you and your family on your father's passing. Your father will be deeply missed by all of us.
I grew up in the neighborhood of Chargene Way as a boy in the 1960's and I have fond memories of Diane, Gary, Patti, Sharon, David and your parents that are part of my childhood memories.
Gary and I use to play together when we were children and I will always remember your father as the soft spoken dad who would go out of his way for his children like building the pigeon and turtle dove bird cage for Gary in the backyard and much more. He was truly a great guy!
Wishing you the my heartfelt sympathies during this difficult time.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him but have known Sharon and Patti for many years. They always spoke fondly of him, and had many happy memories. May these memories bring you peace.
