November 4, 1947 - September 2, 2023
Sacramento, California - LEHE, THOMAS EUGENE. In Sacramento on September 2, 2023. Tom passed away on Sept. 2, 2023 at the age of 75 after a courageous, lifelong battle from wounds sustained in the Vietnam War, where he received many medals, including two purple hearts. He was an eagle scout from troop 49, Sacramento and was very involved in his son, Michael's scouting experience years later. He graduated from Sacramento High School and went on to City College and San Francisco State College majoring in business. He was a carpenter and made a living in the trades. He had a passion for travel, hiking, duck hunting and fishing. He traveled to Mexico often to visit & fish in Baja with his good friend from the war. He and his family especially enjoyed good times at the family home in Stinson Beach, CA. It was there that he caught and prepared eel for the family. His fish fry's were a definite family favorite. He is survived by his son Michael, daughter Alicia and three grandchildren, Ethereal, Orion, and Artemis. He is also survived by his siblings, Susan (Frank), Jane (Greg) and Robert (Dee Dee). He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Johnny and Elizabeth Lehe of Sacramento, CA. Friends & Family are invited to a reception at the Coloma Community Center and Park located at 4623 T St., Sacramento, CA. 95819 on September 21, 2023 from 1-4 PM. Interment will be private at East Lawn Cemetery, 4300 Folsom Blvd. W. F. Gormley & Sons, Funeral Directors.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Tom was a nice gentle man and a good friend. WE met in high school and he was always so sweet and kind. I am so sorry I missed his celebration of life, I didn't know. Patsy I am so sorry for your loss, I know how difficult this must be for you and your family. HE was a good man.
