Thomas Morris Obituary
Tom was born on October 19, 1963 in Carmichael, Calif. His father passed away when he was 3 years old. His mother passed away in 1994. He grew up in North Highlands and Rancho Cordova. He loved books and computers. He also loved to play computer games. He had walking buddies, computer buddies, and friends from high school that he was still very close to. Tom passed away July 3, 2008, doing what he loved to do, working on a loved one's, Frank McGuinn, computer. The six brothers and sisters who mourn his loss are Donna Wynant, Mac Bassham, Michael Morris, Debby Ahlstrom, Susan Gomes, and Sherri Webster. He is also survived by a dearly beloved aunt, Betty Hodges. A memorial service will be held at his sister Susan's home July 26, 2008. All friends and family are welcome. It will be held at 11:00 a.m. The address is 8028 Polo Crosse Ave. Sacramento, CA. RSVP at 916-681-0169

Tom and I bonded over books - his love for reading and mine for writing. Tom was the first in my family to read my first novel, which was published a year after he passed away.
We grew close in the last six months of his life. We wrote each other often, regaling each other with stories of past lovers, future plans, and all of life's challenges.
I miss his enthusiasm and his encouragement. He took pride in my accomplishments. He made me proud of my accomplishments and he looked forward to my success.
He was one of the least judgmental people I'd ever known. I'm glad we were able to connect before he passed. I'm fortunate to have had such a good uncle and for a short time a good friend.

I grew up with Tommy, he was my uncle, but we were only 18 months apart in age. We spent countless hours just being kids. I still remember the many weekends my mom and dad would bring my sister and I to my grandmas house. It was a long time ago. We will miss you Tommy.

Tom was a wonderful person who enriched so many lives. Not only was he a friend, he was family to us.
