I knew Father Tom in the early eighties in Davis. I thought a lot of him. He had a huge heart, warm personality, a contagious smile and a very deep faith in God. May he rest in peace.

Tom never truly appreciated the influential role he played in my life and career. He encouraged me to complete my collegiate studies and was instrumental in mentoring me through a very difficult year in New Baltimore. His sermons were spellbinding. I have never forgotten the kindness, compassion and intelligence he exhibited to everyone.

Tom was a beautiful man who lite up a room with his joy, his eyes and his faith. It was a blessing to be on a chaplain retreat with him one year. May the love of God and his angels bring you all strength during your time of grief. Love always remains. With care.
My portrait of Tom (4/9/07) and how I will always remember him.

Tom and I met in CPE and became colleagues for many years and during that time we formed a good friendship. He was a mentor to me.
His bright smile, words of wisdom, and his sense of humor and so much more were truly gifts to the community he served and to those he loved. My condolences.

A "Renaissance" man. (Fr.) Tom was Prior of the Carmelite Novitiate in New Baltimore, PA when I was a Novice in 1968. He directed us in the play "Twelve Angry Men" which was a hit with the townsfolk. He was a calming, even tempered, holy presence that inspired us to persevere through a challenging year on the road of Carmelite life.

Tom was a very special person with great personal integrity.
I knew and admired Tom since high school days. It was always
a delight to be with Tom. When one was with Tom, the world
always seemed a more humane and cheerful place. Keith Egan
