Tilda WILSON Obituary
WILSON, Tilda Mae
Born in Samson, AL, on 9-29-23. A 50+ year resident of Sacramento, CA. Died on 3/19/12 in Tyler, TX. Tilda was the wife for 60 years of Robert C. Wilson, Sr., now deceased. Tilda had recently moved to Tyler, TX where shortly after her arrival she was called by her Heavenly Father. Tilda is survived by 6 children, a host of grandchildren, family members, friends and neighbors. During her life Tilda truly embodied the spirit of Proverbs 31:10-31. She is loved and missed by all who knew her. She has been cremated and her remains will be brought from Texas back to California sometime in the future. She will then be interred with her husband at Sacramento Memorial Lawn Cemetery. A memorial service will be held then.

Mrs. Wilson was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known in my entire life. To this day I miss stopping by her little house in Sacramento and sitting down for a chat. She was just lovely, honest and was blessed with grace that so few people ever know. I've known her since I was a young man. She brought two of my younger days great friends into this world and into my life. They were Robert Wilson, Jr. and Roger Wilson. I will never forget the times we all spent together. Those were the times of my life. Mrs. Wilson always made me proud to know her. From the time I met her I knew she was a very rare person and I knew I was blessed to know her. I will miss her but carry all that she passed along to me in my heart and mind.
