Kelli
I am so sorry about Timmy. I too have many childhood memories of "the gang"
What I think I will always remember of Tim is his laugh and his eyes. My sympathy to you all.

Timmy was always his own person since we were little and I had a good time being around him. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend time with him as an adult, but the times we had as children will always be a fond memory. We will all miss you very much Timmy, you left a legacy to carry on your spirit and you were loved.

May 10, 2010

I attended the Sheriff's Academy with Tim, sharing both the wonderful and difficult days there. I'm so sorry to hear of Tim's passing, and wish his family only the best in these trying times.

Tim you were always like a big brother to me and we are all going to miss you so much. I will never forget when you were teaching me to drive and I went off the side of the road and got stuck. I thought you were going to be mad but instead you had so much patience. You knew how upset I was. Somebody came along and towed us out; luckily with no damage to your truck. You always laughed about that and eventually I did to. Our family had so many good times with you in it and I wish I could just turn back time. We will see you again one day but until then we have so many good memories.
Love you always,
Gracy

We are remembering Tim today and celebrating a great person that has meant so much to so many. To Brittney, Brooke and all of Tim's family we want you to know that Tim will always have a special place in our hearts. I will never forget Tim walking my mom down the aisle at my wedding. When many could have done the job, without any hesitation my mom would have no one but Tim. My mom felt such a connection with Tim due to his easy good old boy ways that made everyone confortable. Brooke and Brittney I can relate with your loss. Although my kids have never met my dad they have a relationship with him. I talk about him often and share fond memories of him with them. They call him Grandpa heaven. Your dad leaves behind an amazing legacy! It is you, you are both amazing young ladies. Our pryers are with you.

Timmy, I'm sitting here in my room looking out the window at the very spot I first met you 31 years ago. I'm reading all the heart felt entries people have left you and I am simultaneously filled with joy over the memories I have of you and sadness that you're not here to make more. I am talking to you right now like you are here with me. I wish I wish I could eloquently put into words how I feel right now, but I can't - so I'll share a very simple little story about us that always makes me smile. Well... that and it's about the only story that's suitable for a family newspaper.
The two of us took my 1966 Toronado from Sacramento to Reno one summer day back in 1984 probably and decided to sleep in the car to save money on a hotel. It was freezing that night and I remember grabbing a little pair of gym shorts (70's style) I had in the trunk for warmth. I woke up in the middle of the night freezing only to look in the back seat to see Timmy all smiling and peacefully sleeping with my tiny gym shorts in his arms. Moments later the gym shorts were back in my arms and I was warm and cozy again. This repeated about 6 more times through the night until I woke up all cranky and and cold with no gym shorts to hold.
He was in the back seat smiling and sleeping peacefully clutching my gym shorts in his arms.
Brother, you can always have my gym shorts to keep you warm. I love you and miss you.

Britney, Brooke, Johnny, Kelly, and Kevin, my deepest sympathy for your loss of a great "FATHER AND BROTHER"
I'm so glad that I got to know you Tim. I will never forget the times we spent together, like going to the Dallas /Patriots game in Dallas, remodeling your house and just hanging out at "THE RANCH". Your humor, quick wit, infectious laugh and friendship will be deeply missed. My thoughs and prayers to you TIM and your family. So as you would say to me,"I'M OUT MY BROTHA!"

Tim, We already miss you so much .You were the first son in law to call me "Ma". I will miss your "Hi Ma" when you call.
You had the best sense of humor ,when I had my grocery list on the fridge ,you would put Armadillo slices on my list .No one could make me laugh like my Tim. You were like a son to Bill and I. You will always be in our hearts.
We know you will be soaring with the Eagles and watching over your girls.

Timmy,
You were our fearless leader growing up. Leading me, Kevin and all of the neighborhood kids into activities that will be forever treasured memories. You created such awesome childhood games like "Survivor" making up dangerous tasks that each one of us tagging along with you had to accomplish to continue hanging out ... and "Escape" taking 'cops and robbers' to a whole new level. I didn't appreciate the pellet in the buttock you big dumb jerk! ;) but I sure did love hanging out with you when we were kids.
I will forever treasure the memories Timmy!
We were the kids mothers warned their children about ... with no parental supervision ... but we never got into trouble. You saw to that. It was good innocent fun! I've got stories for a lifetime thanks to you. As I share the tales of childhood shenanigans, people can't help but smile. That's what your legacy will be brother. Making people smile and roar out loud with laughter and being the proudest papa in the world! Your girls were your everything! Thank you for giving us such beautiful nieces!
I love you forever,
Kelli

Tim,

I am so proud of what you accomplished in life. You're the father of two fantastic daughters, you built a reputation as a damn good fearless cop and of course what you turned "The Ranch" into, a piece of paradise. You're easily the funniest man I have ever known. Thank you for expanding the vocabulary of so many with words such as: chowderhead, chowder, biscuit head, and many, many more. I will miss your goofy laugh, those damn good bbq's and your putrid optimism for the New England Patriots. The times that we spent together I will cherish forever. Whether it was working our tails off cutting firewood or leisurely camping , I had an absolute blast spending time with you.

My first best friend & partner in crime, with the ability to turn the most mundane of jobs, like "Standing in line at the DMV,"seem like a chapter out of an Indiana Jones Novel, once retold with your poetic twists. I love you, and please be sure to save some good seats
