Todd Donoho Obituary

Todd Donoho
September 10, 1965 - December 24, 2021
Victoria, Minnesota - Todd took the hand of Jesus and entered heaven on Dec. 24, 2021, in Victoria, MN. He is survived by wife Emily, parents Lowell and Carolyn, sister Jennifer, former wife Heather, daughter Erin, nephew Josh (Allie), stepdaughters Christina (Josh) Krienke and Angela (Matt) Woodrum, grandchildren William, Alexa, Gianna, and Nicholas Krienke and Alexander and Andrew Woodrum, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Todd was born on Sept. 10, 1965, in Gridley, CA, to Lowell and Carolyn Donoho, and grew up in Gridley, Fremont, and Loomis. He graduated from Del Oro High School and received his B.A. in History from Sacramento State University and M.A. in Special Education from National University.
Todd worked for over 30 years as a teacher with the California Division of Juvenile Justice, working at the Northern California Youth Reception Center, Preston, and O.H. Close and Chaderijan facilities. He loved making learning fun and inspiring his students to create brighter futures for themselves. After moving with Emily to Minnesota in 2020, he taught at Holy Family Academy, which he greatly enjoyed. Todd was a devoted Christian, husband, father, and friend with a kind and generous spirit, love of road trips, and penchant for wordplay and jokes.
A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Covenant Church at 6800 Main Ave., Orangevale, CA on January 15th at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.

My condolences to the family and to Todd's co-workers. I knew Todd from our work at DJJ NA Chaderjian and he was an amazing advocate and teacher for students. I knew him to be excellent in whatever he did. He did his job with passion and compassion. He kept an eye out for those who were struggling, and provided encouragement and hope. His legacy will live on through his students and through the staff who were impacted by his example.
