Todd MacMURRAY Obituary

MacMURRAY, Todd D.
Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2010. Todd was a gentle soul with a fierce competitiveness. He fought courageously the past five months against the wretched disease of melanoma. Beloved family and friends surrounded him in his last hours. Todd is survived by his loving wife Jeanine and their three beautiful children Brodie, Alexa, and Ethan. He is also survived by his loving parents Marcia and Peter, his brother Craig and wife Chizuru, his sister Jennifer Weston and husband Chris, his sister Tara Hanson and husband Mike, and his brother Shawn and wife Patricia. A special thanks to the Javier Gomez family for their endless love and support of Todd, during his courageous fight. A ''Celebration of Life'' Mass will be held on Saturday, June 19, at 2 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Church on 2231 Club Center Drive in Sacramento. Father Daniel Ray, a very special priest who comforted all of us on that final day, will preside at this Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Todd's name can be made to the Melanoma Fund at St. Mary's Medical Center Foundation, 450 Stanyan St., San Francisco, CA 94117.

Hi Jeanine, Andrew Vasquez here from BOE days in Oakland, so sorry to hear of your loss. Todd was a great guy, great ball player too as we played baseball for about 3 years together. God Bless you and your family.

I was so sorry to hear of Todd's passing. I had the good fortune to get to know him as a member of the Boardtoasters Toastmasters Club at BOE. I remember his creative speeches and how they always made everyone laugh. He spoke about his family and friends often in his speeches and was a blatantly proud husband and father. His warm smile and perpetual good mood always brightened every room he entered. We lost a good guy – he will be missed.

My condolences to Todd's family and the MacMurray family. I was stunned when I heard the news. Immediately, I was brought back to the days when Todd, my brother and I played baseball for North Valley Little League in San Jose. Although we haven't kept in touch, there were so many memories to recall. Todd was a great friend and he will surely be missed. Our thoughts and prayers to you all...

Jeanine and family, you have my deepest condolences and my prayers are with you. I had the privilege of working with him in and sharing a laugh or two about golf adventures. I'm sure no better husband and father walked this Earth like Todd. He will be missed.

My heart goes out to all of Todd's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed working with Todd on the projects we had the opportunity to both be a part of here at BOE. I was always struck with his personality and the fact that he always seemed to be the calm in the storm. I will miss seeing his friendly smile and greeting around the workplace. I hope that through the sadness grief, you have a measure of peace in knowing that love is eternal. All the very best.
