MEHWALD, Violet L.
Passed away in Placerville, November 22, 2005 at the age of 93. Wife of the late Herbert Pitzner, Carl Mehwald & Les Mitchell. Mother of Emily (Ed) Johnston of Kelsey; grandmother of Sandra, Marcia & Jeff (Deb) Johnston; great-grandmother of Lucas & Sean Johnston; step-mother of Carlene Hoppe; step-grandmother of Thomas (Anna), John (Carrie) & Jim (Margret); step-great-grandmother of Taylor, Thomas & Matthew. Sister of the late Elsie Cate and Elizabeth McMains. A native of Texas, she has lived in Sacramento since 1922 prior to recently moving to El Dorado County to be near her daughter. Friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, Dec 5th from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and are respectfully invited to attend funeral services Tuesday, Dec 6th at 11:00 AM in the LAND PARK CHAPEL OF HARRY A. NAUMAN & SON, 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
