CLOUD, Jr., Walter Joseph
Born July 15, 1914, in Norristown, PA, he passed away in his home in Gulfport, MS, on August 29, 2005, from a sudden heart attack as Hurricane Katrina swept through his town. He was 91 years old. His first wife Deborah Janet (Kille) Cloud, his first son Walter J. Cloud III, and great-grandson Walter J. Cloud V preceded him in death. His sister Elizabeth of Lancaster, PA, his wife of 37 years, Joan (Manheim) Cloud of Gulfport, and daughters Bonnie, Jody, and Lori survive him, along with his son Kennard Spencer, grandchildren Kennard Spencer Jr., and Marcy, daughter Deborah Jane, grandchildren Seth and Abby, daughter-in-law Joanie, grandchildren Kathy, Jeanie, Patty, Christy, Mary-Jean and Walter Joseph IV. He had 14 great-grandchildren. For years he lived in Rumson, NJ, where he commuted to New York as a consultant. He then moved to Ormond Beach, FL, then built a new home in Gulfport, MS. a few years ago. While no formal services were held at his request, he was buried at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport. "Early morning ocean fishing, a gallon of ice cream with 2 spoons, shucking corn and grand homes will be fond memories to share with our own." Thank you, Granddad, you were a wonderful man.
