Hi Mommy! It's been a year since I last kissed you good night. Know that your children, grand children and great grand children are doing ok. We still have our whole crazy group get togethers. We feel your sweet spirit is there with us always.
I am so thankfull that still, we all laugh together. We rejoice that you kept us close to each other and always in prayer to the Lord. We miss you mommy and love you. We will 'see you in the morning'.

Dear Sweet Mom,
I can't believe it's been nearly a year since you've been gone. I miss you so much but thank the Lord, I smile more than I cry whenever I think of you.
I am so thankful that I get to look upon your sweet smiling face everyday when I view the picture of you and your honey, Wilfred that sits on both my desk at work and sofa table at home. Sometimes, I even get to look upon that sweet smiling face of yours when I look into a mirror. How fortunate is that?!!! These days, when I see you in my own face I can't believe there was ever a time when I frowned whenever anyone would say,"Why, you look just like your mother." You were so beautiful. I am even more blessed because my beloved sister, Lynn, looks even more like you. (Sometimes I'm so amazed that I can't take my gaze off of her.)
Mom, we love you. We miss you. You will always be the light of ours lives.
Keep on smiling.
All My Luv,
Phyllis

Mom,
What can I say? There is no possible way that I could ever explain to anyone how much I'll miss you or how much you mean to me. You were my world.
I am extremely greatful for the sacrafices that you made for all of your children - those you gave birth to and those you didn't. You set a stellar example for all of us to follow by leading a Christian life. You put into practice the words and lessons you taught about God's love and loving thy neighbor.
I'm so thankful for the mother that God gave to me. "Big Hearted", "Wonderful Lady" and "Sweet Woman are just a few of the descriptions that accurately describe your character. Just as Jason wrote in his posting, you where my everything, and the loss of you is unbearable.
Despite what some may have seen as a stoic exterior over these past few years, It tore me up on the inside to see you suffering. I'm comforted by the fact that you were right with our Maker, and that you are finally at peace.
I'm saddened by the fact that you won't be there to see me marry Grace, who adored you, but I know you'll be there in spirit.
I will continue to dedicate my life to trying to make you proud and honor your memory. I will always love you and I'll see you in the morning...
Your baby boy,
Eric Patrick Henderson

Aunt Wessie was an amazing woman for God. She could do anything, even make Nuteena taste good!
I appreciate everything that she did for me many years ago as a teenager, especially all of her work to send me to the NAD Youth Congress in Mexico City. I'm trying to do for my Pathfinder club now what she did for me.
Aunt Wessie's love for child evangelism will bless lives forever. Her Vacation Bible Schools were the best, everyone from children to adults had the best of time learning about Jesus.
Aunt Wessie will be missed, but always loved and remembered.
I'm sorry I can't be with you at this time.
