William Deason Obituary

Devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grand-father and friend. Bill passed away peacefully on August 22, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Loralie, his brother Jon and sister Joan, his three sons, Mark, Craig, Eric, their wives, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Bill was a native Sacramentan. He was born in Carmichael in 1930 and graduated from San Juan High School. He joined the Air force and served during the Korean War from 1950-1954. He then received his Masters Degree in Accounting from Golden Gate University. As a CPA Bill was a partner at Essary, Dal Porto and Lowe for 40 years until his retirement in 1995. He was an avid sailor and spent many years at Lake Tahoe enjoying family time at the cabin he built in 1959. We will all miss his green thumb, as he could get fruits and vegetables to grow anywhere. The family will hold a private memorial in Newcastle, California. To honor his memory, a donation may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
