1945 - 2022

GREAT VALLEY - Marcia Reynolds Dennis died unexpectedly Friday (Dec. 30, 2022) in her home in Great Valley.

She was born in 1945, the third of four children of Shirley and James Reynolds of Little Valley.

After attending Little Valley Central Schools, she lived in Randolph and Salamanca before moving to Buffalo, where she had her only child, Lisa Jackson-Schebetta, with Robert Jackson.

Ms. Reynolds moved to Kansas City and Atlanta, Ga. with her new family before returning to Western New York in 1984. She was married to Michael Kyser of Salamanca from 1985 until his death in 2003. She married John Dennis in 2004 and lived in the Five Points area of Little Valley until her divorce.

Ms. Reynolds' main joy was doting on youngsters and children, both her own daughter and granddaughter, Penelope Schebetta, as well as the many young family members and children she was employed to care for. She continued to be a beloved nana up until her death.

Surviving Ms. Reynolds are her daughter, Lisa Jackson-Schebetta and her husband Dennis Schebetta and their daughter Penelope; her sisters, Ms. Myrna Reynolds of Great Valley and Beverly Culver of Brocton; her brother, James Reynolds and his wife Kathleen Lindell of Amherst; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends called Sunday (Jan. 1, 2023) at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. Funeral services were held Monday (Jan. 2, 2023) from the funeral home, with Rev. Mike Trenchard officiating. Burial would be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.
