Bridget Smith Obituary
Bridget grew up in Vacaville and King City where she was active in the swim team, Monterey County Dance Theater, St John's Church choir, 4-H, and other activities. In high school she participated in track and innumerable drama productions. A gifted performer, she enjoyed joining Stage Hands in their various summer productions from "Annie" to "Fiddler on the Roof" among others. She graduated from King City High School in 1996 and Sacramento State University in 2001 where she was affiliated with Alpha Phi sorority.
She remained in the Sacramento area where she was an intern for KCRA-TV and also worked for Wells Fargo customer services.
Her charming wit and joyous smile will be missed by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Tom Nolte. She is survived by her son Brenden and ex husband Charles Smith of Sacramento and mother Mavourneen Nolte of King City and sibling Maguire (Kevin) Teixeira of San Luis Obispo, Tom (Monica) Nolte of Woodland, and Patrick (Niki) Nolte of Santa Cruz and three nephews. Funeral services are pending. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of choice.

Bridget was the eldest of my only nieces. Taken far before her time and named in remembrance of her ggrandmother; Bridget Ann MaGuire who came to California in 1905 from Allumette Island, Pontiac,Quebec,Canada. Bridget is to the right of her little sis: Maguire(Maggie).
