Bessie Robinson Obituary

Bessie Anna Robinson 81, of Salisbury was born to the late Owen and Martha Covington Robinson on August 18, 1939 in Rowan County passed away on Sat., July 31, 2021 at her home in Salisbury, NC. She was a graduate of J C Price High School and Livingstone College, she was a retired teacher from the Public School of Richmond Virginia. She attended Moore's Chapel A.M. E. Zion Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; Mary Robinson, Rachel Robinson, Jerry Robinson, Stevie Robinson and Minnie Massey. She is survived by her daughter; Betsy Robinson, sons; Jason Robinson, Curtis Robinson , Adrian Robinson, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends. Service: Funeral Services Saturday August 7, at 12:00 Rowan Funeral Services Chapel burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. No Public Viewing the family will be receiving friends at the home. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Robinson family.
