Brian Michael Wisecarver

1965 - 2021

Brian Michael Wisecarver, 56, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem after contracting Covid 19 pneumonia. He was born February 4, 1965, in Greenville, TN to Hedrick Wisecarver, Jr. and the late Thelma Waddell Wisecarver. Brian was employed by Food Lion, and attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Byron Montgomery Wisecarver and Brett Matthew Wisecarver. Survivors include his father of Salisbury; his wife, Lynn Anderson Wisecarver; a daughter, Callie Elizabeth Wisecarver; stepsons, Luke Ray (Tiffany) of Lexington and James Ray of Mocksville; brother-in-law, Eddie Anderson (Beth); nieces and nephew, Brittany Young (Preston), Adam Wisecarver, and McKenna Anderson; and grandchildren, Delaney Ray, Luke Ray, Martha Jane Ray, and Marley Foster. Arrangements: A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 21, at St. John's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dr. Rhodes Woolly officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. A private interment will be held at a later time.
