Coughenour, Jr., Charles P. (Jukebox Charlie) Kannapolis, NC- Charles Pearson Coughenour, age 90, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Magnolia Gardens, Spencer, NC after several years of declining health. He was born July 9, 1926 in Rowan County, NC, the son of the late Charles Pearson Coughenour, Sr. and Vannie Wiggins Coughenour. Charles was affectionately known as “Jukebox Charlie” to many of his friends and family. He formally worked in textiles in earlier years but had been disabled for many years until his death. A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family. Survivors include his children, Rick Coughenour (Terrie Settlemyer) of Salisbury, NC; Vickie C. Hileman (Randy) of Kannapolis, NC; and Steve Coughenour (Tammy) of Joliet, IL; and; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Magnolia Gardens for their many years of love and care given to our father and grandfather during this most difficult time.
