Christy McCombs Yoe

Christy McCombs Yoe, 66, of Faith, passed away from complications due to a stroke Friday, February 12, 2021 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. She was born January 25, 1955, in Iredell County, to Aliene Cauble McCombs and the late William Howard McCombs. Mrs. Yoe was a 1973 Graduate of East Rowan High School, was a member of Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith, and worked as a Medical Assistant in doctor's offices throughout Rowan County. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and great-niece. In addition to her father, Mrs. Yoe was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Reid Yoe. In additional to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Haley Shaffer and husband, Craig, of York, PA; sisters, Sharon McCombs Deal and husband, Bo, of Mt. Ulla and Peggy McCombs Artz and husband, Danny, of Rockwell; and her three grandchildren, Mattie Grace, Grant Evan, and Luke Bradley. Service: Services for Mrs. Yoe will be private.
