He attended school in Wayne County, later receiving his GED and he was self-employed.
He was loved by many and he loved children.
He was preceded by his parents; Nathaniel and Roberta B. Jones,Jr.,sons; Claymore C. Jones,Jr., Dontae Stokes, and sister; Terri Linnette Jones.
He is survived by his sons; Claymore Jones, Clay Wilson, Christopher Claymore Jones, Christopher K. Jones, Jahabien Jones, Tyquan Phifer, daughters; Joscelyn Transou, LaCorsha Ross, Brice Robinson, Myshyia Phifer, brother; Nathaniel Jones, sister; Barbara Jones, twenty-four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces,nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Sunday October 12, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. Gethsemane Baptist Church, family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to service. Burial will be on Wednesday October 15, at 2:00p.m. at West Lawn Cemetery in Clemmonsville, NC.
