Cody Holshouser

Cody Levi Holshouser, 25, of Rockwell, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022. He was born Sept. 15, 1997, in Rowan County, to Kevin and Stephanie Sloop Holshouser. Cody attended East Rowan High School until his junior year and was a 2014 graduate of Penn Foster. He was a heavy machine operator, which he thoroughly enjoyed and was a man of many traits. Cody loved, hunting, fishing, camping, the mountains and riding around with his daughter on the four wheeler and tractor, and you could not put a price on his appetite. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone who needed it and had a heart of gold. In addition to his parents, Kevin and Stephanie, he is survived by his brother, Jake Holshouser (Izzy Davis); daughter, Amelia Grace Holshouser; the love of his life Chloe Correll; and grandmother, Claudine Bostian. Visitation: The family will greet friends and relatives from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, at Powles Staton Funeral Home in Rockwell. Service: A memorial service will be held on at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, at First Baptist Church in Rockwell, conducted by Pastor Matthew Laughter.
