Corderio Everhart Obituary

'Cord' Everhart

SALISBURY - Corderio Carl "Cord" Everhart, age 21, of 615 Elm St., died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Lexington Memorial Hospital, Lexington.

He was born May 23, 1987, in Salisbury to Phyllis Everhart and Andre Alexander, Sr. He was reared by Reginald Mills of Salisbury. He was a graduate of Henderson Independent High School and was employed at Bill's Truck Stop.

A member of Welcome Holy Temple Church, he was active with various organizations of the church including the Youth Choir. He was also a member of the "Silent Mob."

Survivors are a son, Savon T. Everhart, Salisbury; mother Phyllis Everhart, Salisbury; father Andre Alexander, Sr., Salisbury; brothers Preston Everhart, Timothy Rhodes, Andre Alexander, Jr. and Najee Reid, all of Salisbury; sisters Brittany Alexander, Durham, and Alexandrea Parks, Kannapolis; maternal grandparents Pastor Louise Everhart, Salisbury, Elder Charles Everhart, Salisbury; maternal great-grandmother Evangelist Lillian Everhart, Cleveland; paternal grandmother Alene Alexander, Salisbury; those reared as brothers and sisters, Reginald Everhart, Salisbury, Bobby Everhart, Cleveland, LaKiesha Brown, Charlotte, and LaTaoney Brown, Salisbury; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Service and Visitation: Funeral will be Monday, April 13 at 2 p.m. with visitation at 1 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, East Spencer, with Bishop E.L. Gray officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
